HRF’s project interests are driven by the goal of aiding long-term progress for communities. Our interventions are geared towards resolving issues with the involvement of these community members, so that complementary change can be facilitated in the form of increased employment, diverse jobs, and participation of marginalized groups in the workforce. We change the world with the help of humans, for the betterment of humans and wildlife.
The socio-economic disparity between rural and urban areas of Pakistan is a consequence of differing education standards. HRF facilitates remote schools in Pakistan with resources such as computer labs, libraries and equips them with the latest technology ranging from computers, projectors, internet and power backup to stationery, books, and other items, in order to give students from underrepresented communities a well-rounded education in-line with the top academic and professional standards of the modern age.
Change begins small. In Pakistan, several communities have taken up initiatives to fulfil infrastructural absences in their areas. However, where these initiatives are fuelled by ambition and determination, they often lack in resources and funding. This is where HRF steps in. By identifying systemic problems faced by a community and with the involvement of its members, HRF facilitates long-term solutions by providing funds, equipment and training.
The world is in a climate emergency. Entire ecosystems are being threatened by human inactivity towards environmental preservation. HRF aims to combat this by promoting innovative forest and wildlife-friendly practices for all stakeholders of the environment. The foundation has also partnered with many government and non-government agencies to create concrete and well-rounded impact on the protection of endangered species of plants and animals.
